Way back in 2016, a set of women pre-school owners were interviewed by ‘The Times of India’.
The article was even titled as ‘Women techies switch to pre-school franchises’
It was stated that among all jobs, teaching pre-schoolers is stress-free and help women have a work-life balance. Women who are passionate about teaching kids prefer to start their own pre-school as they can earn almost comparable salaries to what they get in any other job.
Though the reasons why women prefer to become business owners are varied, the first thing is they wish to be their own boss. The next one is a desire to pursue their passion, followed by a dissatisfaction with corporate jobs.
Most of the women pre-school owners are those who had quit their career when their children came along. Surprisingly none of them wanted to stay at home either. They strongly believe that a pre-school franchise opportunity is a boon as they are able to stay productive and profitable.
